A Message from Our Chair Kathleen Crawford

March 2024

The March 5, 2024, Primary Election is our first big test in supporting our 2 CADEM endorsed candidates, Jessica Morse for CD3 and Neva Parker for AD5.  If your ballot is not yet in the mail nor delivered to a drop box or a Voting Center, it's THE most important thing for you to do as soon as possible. Of course, this is a Presidential election, and re-electing the Biden/Harris ticket is crucial for our democracy and freedoms. The federal Senate race is aggressively contested, and CADEM delegates did not endorse it. Choose carefully, and there could possibly be two Democratic candidates on the ballot in the November General Election.

In celebratory news, our Coordinated Campaign Headquarters opened at 5050 Rocklin Rd, Unit A20, in Rocklin, across from Sierra College. The Morse Campaign had a well-attended opening, and on February 24, CADEM  VP Betty Yee energized our volunteers for our GOTV efforts. In addition to our Community Engagement activities for canvassing and phone banking, our candidates are actively recruiting volunteers for their activities. The Central Committee is also recruiting volunteer staff to maintain regular office hours. Sign-up HERE.

Like all other political groups, fundraising remains essential.  On February 23, we held another successful Zoom Bingo to increase our available funds, including the shared cost of the HQ. If you are not yet a Blue Legacy monthly donor, please consider starting a monthly donation to help ensure we have available funds to reach voters for the November General Election. Your contribution will make a tremendous difference!

Keep up our outstanding momentum for a strong showing on March 5, 2024. GO DEMOCRATS!
