In April, Our Community Engagement Committee met to discuss and develop our strategic activities to meet our goals for 2023. Using a strategy development matrix, the committee brainstormed resources and strategies to successfully accomplish our goals of increasing our active volunteer data base, promoting calls to action, and targeting both younger and No Party Preference voters.
On the horizon:
Postcards & Pizza--monthly opportunities to enjoy pizza with your friends and write postcards welcoming newly registered Dems
Donuts with the Dems--gatherings in our local parks to meet with other volunteers to share info, hear from local candidates, and take action
Volunteer Appreciation Potluck Picnic--a new event scheduled for late summer/early fall just for our active volunteers
A more robust presence on social media--if you're not following our accounts yet, now's the time
