Our focus as Placer County Democratic Party is to elect Democrats to represent us at the Federal, State, and local level. The ability to get out the vote is often the determining factor in an electoral victory. Our candidates need their message heard far and wide and they depend on us to help amplify their efforts.

We work year round, every year, to advance progressive policies and candidates. It is volunteers like you who are the life-blood of this work.

The Placer County Democratic Party regularly organizes canvassing and phone banking events to support our endorsed candidates. All canvassers are given training and sent out in pairs to talk to people in neighborhoods. Phone bankers also receive training on how to make calls from their computer at home. Placer County Democrats also have other opportunities like promoting candidates through small visibility rallies, writing postcards, and helping promote candidates on social media. If you have any special skills that could be beneficial for the Placer County Democratic Party or its candidates, such as video editing or fundraising expertise, please let us know.
