As we approach the upcoming November election, we are thrilled to announce a strong roster of over 40 Democrats who intend to run for various local offices. Our community is fortunate to have dedicated individuals stepping up to serve on School Boards, City Councils, and Fire and Water Boards. Many of these candidates are familiar faces and have already launched robust campaigns. Check your local club newsletters and social media for updates. The number of candidates is changing daily as more and more individuals (some expected and some unexpected) file their papers with the Placer County Elections Office. We continue our outreach and support to our candidates through training opportunities and assistance with launching a successful campaign. The Placer County Campaign Services Committee is actively accepting endorsement applications and will be recommending endorsements to the Central Committee at our regular meeting on August 14th.
We look forward to providing profiles of our PCDP-endorsed candidates very soon.
In the meantime, we are actively recruiting volunteers who will be ready to assist in the campaigns of our endorsed candidates. Your support is crucial in helping us ensure that dedicated and capable leaders represent our community.
Stay tuned for more updates and get involved in shaping the future of Placer County!
