As we stow away our holiday decorations and contemplate our fitness plans, we’d like to add another item to your resolutions list—become involved in our Placer County Democratic Central Committee (PCDCC). You don’t need to be a member of the Central Committee to join one of our standing committees. These committees are the backbone of our organization, and any Democrat in Placer County can become a member.

Each of these committees is recruiting new members to maintain and expand their important work:
Communications: contribute to our monthly newsletter; help with editing is particularly needed as well as more members of our social media team

Fundraising: help needed to plan and organize the fundraising activities of our Placer County Democratic Party

Community Engagement: be part of our efforts to involve and activate our voters throughout Placer County

Resolutions: research and help write resolutions on policy issues for consideration by the Central Committee

Campaign Services: assist with recruiting and vetting local candidates for office

Public Events: participate in voter registration and other visibility opportunities at fairs, festivals, and other public events

Legislation: prepare legislative analysis for consideration by the Central Committee

Governance: review and facilitate the bylaws of the PCDCC
